Centre of the city: Exclusive park

Whereas the Maxvorstadt district was home to famous poets, painters and artists in former times, today it is famous as a museum mile, strolling area, as well as a centre for art, culture, education and science. A city district with tradition and perspective, whose exuberance is reflected at all times of the year in several cafés, restaurants, bars and traditional guest houses.

Lenbach Gärten is located in a unique, central park at the Old Botanical Garden in the centre of Munich. The immediate neighbourhood impresses with historical and listed buildings such as the Glyptothek museum and the Propylaea Gate at Königsplatz, the St. Bonifaz Abbey and the spectacular Palace of Justice.

The plush shops on Theatiner-, Residenz-, Brienner- and Maximilianstrasse are located close-by to Lenbach Gärten. The Old Town, with the pedestrian zone, the three picture galleries, the Residenz Palace and the National Theatre can all be reached with a short walk.

Lenbach Gärten is thus one of the top locations of "Italy's most northern city", whose cultural wealth is just as attractive as the fascination of royal architecture or the natural charm of Bavarian hospitality.
